Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day project and general accounting activities of the AbbVie Biologics Research Center in Worcester MA. Reporting to the Cost Accounting Manager with a dotted line to the FP&A Manager, this role will interface with leadership across functions including Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, R&D and External Commercial Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day business activities which include project accounting, and account analysis and reporting, and setup / update / maintenance of inventory.
• Perform month-end processes which include but not limited to account reconciliations, booking monthly / quarterly journal entries, analyzing P&L variances.
• Partner with key stakeholders cross functionally to monitor, track, and manage cost center budgets.
• Help support key business reporting cycles (LBE, Updates, LRP, and Annual Plan).
• Assist in the annual material standard setting process.
• Help develop and create Power BI reports required for business continuity.
