A Utah-based services organization is looking to add an Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) to join their growing Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team. In this role, the EMT will provide first aid care, health guidance, and injury prevention support in an occupational health setting. This is a high-impact role that involves regular interaction with employees, participation in safety committee meetings, and engagement in weekly case reviews.

- Schedule : 4 shifts per week
- Hours : 10am to 8 : 30pm

Responsibilities :
Deliver first aid and refer employees to outside medical providers when neededPromote injury prevention through education, awareness, and daily engagementMaintain detailed records of care and injury managementSupport the workers' compensation and return-to-work programsDocument daily activity logs and end-of-shift reportsProvide coaching on safe work habits observed on the operations floorMaintain a clean work environment and ensure sufficient medical suppliesParticipate in CPR / AED / First Aid training and maintain all certificationsAssist with saliva drug testing protocolsQualifications :
High School diploma or equivalentCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an ECC-approved providerOne of the following :EMT or Paramedic Certification (State or NREMT)6+ months of recent military medical experience (e.g., Combat Medic, Hospital Corpsman)Current Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or equivalent state cert.)Desired Skills :
Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED (AHA or Red Cross)Experience in industrial wellness or occupational health programsKnowledge of musculoskeletal injury prevention and ergonomic coachingFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation processesSkilled in digital record-keeping and documentationProficient in Microsoft Office
