Our Customer Service Representative needs to exceed customer service standards to current clients while also assisting prospects as they call in . Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and efficiency
Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and coverage explanations
Maintain accurate client records using Farmers Insurance systems
Provide support for the agencys sales staff by preparing quotes, scheduling appointments, and handling follow-ups
Process payments and manage account updates
Identify customer needs and refer leads to licensed sales agents
Follow up on claims and ensure timely communication between clients and carriers
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all agency and Farmers Insurance compliance standards
Requirements
Prior customer service or insurance experience is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and CRM software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus
[Optional but recommended : ] Must obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license within [30 / 60 / 90] days of hire (agency may assist with licensing process)
