Shipping Associate

Phoenix, AZ

Shipping Team Member

(Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing setting)

Location : 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (40th and Southern)

Shift : Full time, day shift (6am - 3 : 30pm)

Pay : $17 per hour

Bonus : Eligible for up to $300 bonus per quarter!

Responsibilities :

  • Assists OSP with shipping when carrier services are involved
  • Maintains finished goods inventory - weekly cycle counting
  • Coordinates / communicates with Quality and Production departments on daily needs
  • Assists with WIP movement updates
  • Communicates updates to customers as required (end of day ship list and tracking detail)
  • Packages parts for shipment or inventory
  • Verifies and adheres to customer delivery requirements

Qualifications :

  • Ability to stand, lift, reach, grasp, bend, stoop, squat and / or walk the majority of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to follow instructions & willingness to learn
  • Due to ITAR requirements, must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

    • Other Experience :

  • ERP / MRP system experience
  • Logistics knowledge (FedEx, UPS, Freight Services)
  • Min 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds on a regular basis
  • Requires standing, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, reaching, sitting, fine hand / finger manipulation up to 8 hours per day

To qualify for consideration, all candidates must be able to work 40+ hours per week in a fast paced, high-demand, quality environment. All candidates must also have sufficient verbal and written communication skills as well as good problem solving skills.
