Position Summary
The English department at Allan Hancock College is seeking applications to develop a qualified pool of part-time faculty for in-person instructional vacancies. The assignment may include classes at the Santa Maria campus, Lompoc Valley Center, or other college sites, as needed. Positions may be available during the Fall and Spring semesters, or summer session.

Essential Functions and Qualifications
Collaborating with faculty and campus staff in developing and implementing programs or initiatives designed to help historically underrepresented, first-generation, and marginalized students achieve their educational goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition
OR
Bachelor's in any of the above
AND
Master's in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing or journalism OR the equivalent.
