Estimator II for the US division of Building & Construction Systems (BCS). This position, reporting to the Order Pursuit Supervisor, plays a critical role in the pricing / estimating of construction projects such as storefronts, curtain wall, doors and windows. The ideal candidate will have broad construction knowledge, a strong customer focus, and exceptional verbal communications skills.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimations for projects and construction plans using customer supplied lists, customer elevations, and architectural plans.
• Provides exceptional customer service for Kawneer’s clients.
• Consults with internal teams, clients, sales reps, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• For example, quote follow-ups, order changes, product related issues, and customer claims.
• Be a point-of-contact on phone inquiries with expectation of 100% response and customer assistance without frequently forwarding calls to other front-end employees.
