About the Role
The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the nCino / Salesforce Platform is a critical leadership role responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of our most complex financial technology programs. This includes multi-year upgrades, migrations, and deep integrations of the nCino Bank Operating System with Salesforce and various core banking / third-party systems. The ideal candidate blends deep technical fluency in the Salesforce ecosystem with expert-level program management, risk mitigation, and executive communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership & Execution
Program Ownership : Lead the planning, execution, and deployment of a portfolio of complex, large-scale technical programs centered on nCino upgrades, new module implementations (e.g., Commercial Lending, DAO), and major Salesforce platform enhancements.
Roadmap and Alignment : Partner with Product Management, Engineering Directors, and Business Sponsors to define program scope, develop multi-year roadmaps, secure cross-functional commitments, and ensure all deliverables align with strategic business outcomes in the Financial Services domain.
Technical Problem Solving : Act as a technical expert to guide teams through critical design decisions, trade-offs, and technical challenges related to nCino configuration, custom Apex / LWC development, and API-led integration strategies.
Integration & Data Management
Integration Program Management : Drive programs focused on real-time and batch integrations between the nCino / Salesforce platform and Core Banking Systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry), credit bureaus, and KYC / AML providers.
Data Integrity & Migration : Oversee complex data mapping, data migration, and data governance activities. Ensure data quality, security, and integrity are maintained throughout system upgrades and integrations, adhering to financial services standards.
DevOps and CI / CD : Champion the adoption and optimization of a DevOps pipeline (e.g., Copado, Gearset) to manage the continuous integration, testing, and deployment of nCino and Salesforce metadata and configurations across all environments.
Risk, Governance, and Communication
Risk and Dependency Management : Proactively identify, analyze, and implement mitigation strategies for high-impact technical risks and complex dependencies spanning multiple teams, vendors, and application release cycles (nCino / Salesforce).
Executive Reporting : Prepare and present transparent, high-quality program updates to executive steering committees, detailing program health, key performance indicators (KPIs), budget status, and critical path items.
Process Custodian : Define, document, and enforce Agile / SAFe best practices for the program team, fostering a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience : 13+ years of experience in Technical Program Management within a large enterprise environment.
Domain Expertise (Mandatory) : 3+ years of deep, recent experience managing nCino implementation, integration, or major upgrade programs.
Platform Mastery : Strong, hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or Platform knowledge) and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Methodologies : Proven expertise in Agile / Scrum methodologies, with strong experience in scaling frameworks like SAFe is highly preferred.
Technical Acumen : Demonstrated understanding of API integration patterns (REST / SOAP), data modeling, and data migration principles, especially in relation to complex financial data.
