What You'll Be Doing

As a Software Engineer on the Consumer Eng Test Infrastructure (CETI) team, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of our scalable testing infrastructure, frameworks, and tools, which are tightly integrated into our CI / CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with engineers across the company to understand pain points, drive the adoption of best practices, and define the future of testing at Coinbase.

• Infrastructure & Tool Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust, fast, and scalable automated test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
• Quality Enablement : Partner with engineering teams to enhance test coverage, reduce test flakiness, and streamline the debugging experience.
• CI / CD Optimization : Optimize CI / CD pipelines to ensure the most efficient and rapid test execution.
• Best Practices & Culture : Advocate for and drive the adoption of testing best practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, promoting a high-quality testing culture while maintaining development velocity.
• Observability : Build comprehensive dashboards and provide insights that empower teams to track and improve the quality of their tests.
• Test Environment Stability : Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, CX, consumer, and SRE teams to ensure that test environments are stable, scalable, and accurately reflect production conditions.
• Technology Exploration : Research and evaluate emerging testing technologies (web, mobile, AI / ML, backend) and integrate them into our ecosystem where appropriate.

Pay Range : $186,065$218,900 USD
