Key Responsibilities :
Designing and implementing complex concepts independently for robotic-assisted surgery products.
Working closely with the engineering team and subject matter experts to develop market-leading software that meets customer and system requirements.
Following defined design practices, including Agile methodology, and applying sound software engineering principles to ensure that application software products are safe, robust, and user-friendly.
Quickly understanding existing architecture, codebase, and development workflows.
Independently designing and developing software components according to defined requirements and architecture, adhering to design principles and coding standards.
Collaborating closely with the Project Management team and other engineers to ensure project success as a technical team member.
Following defined SDLC procedures to ensure software quality through code reviews, unit and component testing, code analysis, and defect management.
Authoring software engineering documentation in accordance with R&D procedures and the Quality Management System.
Clearly communicating progress, risks, and technical decisions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Over 4 years of professional software development experience.
Proven proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented Programming in a production environment.
Experience with Qt / QML frameworks, Linux, and Docker.
Familiarity with full SDLC and Agile methodologies, including CI / CD, static / dynamic analysis, unit testing, and security practices.
Background in medical imaging, image processing, computer vision, or robotics.
Prior consulting or contracting experience, especially in regulated industries like healthcare.
Software development experience in biomedical or other safety-critical environments.
