The Salz Group, a Multi-Brand Restaurant Operator is searching for experienced Shift Managers to join our growing brand. Shift Managers are responsible for the assisting and execution of daily operational activities. This leadership role sets the standard for Crew Members and helps drive performance to ensure all daily shift operations don't just meet standards, they exceed them. The right candidate should be comfortable leading teams to ensure shifts run effectively, while also focused on an overall great experience for both Crew Members and Guests.
General Responsibilities
- Train, Monitor, and Reinforce Food Safety procedures to Crew Members.
- Proficient with cash management. Able to set up, issue, reconcile, and close cash drawers. Verifying cash deposits once completed.
- Ensure Restaurant is "rush ready" at all times, performing walk thrus to ensure cleanliness, well stocked and all stations are ready to serve guests.
- Work with Restaurant Management team to train, develop, and communicate with Crew Members and Team Trainers.
- Comfortable in hosting Team Huddles, Meetings, and communication information in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Able to Supervise Crew Members and Team Trainers in a way to promotes productivity, but also fosters retention and team building.
- Work with Restaurant Management team to ensure quality, production, and service standards are met.
- Lead by example and coach team to ensure we provide a memorable guest experience that "Delights every customer".
- Ensure all compliance standards and Wendy's routines are followed to ensure compliance is met.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure and giving sound advice and direction. Must be able to take direction, give direction, work well in a team environment and have a strong customer orientation focus. Must exhibit professionalism, composure, and discretion when expediting or resolving all customer related concerns and issues.
- Ability to work, concentrate and perform duties accurately in a fast paced environment that may involve noise and hot / cold temperatures or other elements. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Position may require the use of a headset. Frequent lifting and carrying (up to 25-50 pounds, as necessary), reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling and stooping is involved.
