Assembler I

PURPOSE

Provide support to the Production Team by preparing, staging, organizing and providing Masa, Cheese Mix Filling and Tamale Filling for the Tamale -Pupusa Assembling Lines. In addition, the Seasonal Team Member II will provide support to the Masa mix team by providing cooked ground masa for preparation.

• Form and / or wrap Pupusas and / or Tamales to keep production running
• Follow all employee safety procedures
• Follows proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) SQF and USDA guidelines
• Is able to read and understand work instructions
• Follows proper ingredients traceability program
• Must have a positive attitude when helping peers, leaders, or supervisors.
• Clean and maintain assigned area in safe sanitary condition, ensuring product safety
• Verify that equipment is in good working condition and reports to his / her immediate supervisor when issues arise.
• Measure amounts of product or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Remain in designated work areas
• Informs immediate supervisor / Lead person when product is out of specification and when non-conformances occur.
• Follow the company's allergen program
