Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program

Current ARRT registration (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Valid Wyoming Radiology Technologist license in good standing

BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required or must obtain within 60 days of hire

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting

Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to patient confidentiality

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality radiographic imaging for diagnostic purposes

Present diagnostic images to healthcare providers to support patient care

Assist radiologists with procedures and clinical support as needed

Educate patients based on individual needs and ensure patient comfort

Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability in all healthcare duties

Maintain clear communication with hospital staff, managers, and the public

Perform additional radiology technologist duties as assigned
