The facility is a community hospital featuring 30 inpatient beds, including labor and delivery suites.

Located right outside of downtown, it offers comprehensive services, including primary and specialty care.

The hospital provides a variety of medical services, including cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, primary care, general surgery, urology, spine, internal medicine, pediatrics, wound care, and more.

It serves multiple counties.

Unit Information : Number of Beds : 23

Number of Staff : 70

Type of Staff :

Day Shift : 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, 1 LPN, 2 PCTs, 1 UC

Night Shift : 1 Charge Nurse, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 2 PCTs

Patient Ratios :

Days : 1 : 5-6 Med Surg or 1 : 4 Stepdown or 1 : 2 ICU or a combination depending on acuity

Nights : 1 : 6-7 Med Surg or 1 : 5 Stepdown or 1 : 2 ICU or a combination depending on acuity

Type of Equipment :

Ventilators, telemetry, rovers, in-room monitoring, BiPAPs, CPAPs, glucometers, bladder ultrasound, dynamap, EMR - Cerner

Typical Procedures Performed :

Assist with central lines, intubations, ventilation management, IV insertions, Foley catheter placement, lab draws, unna boots, wound care.

Best Personality Fit :

Low drama, go with the flow, team player, independent thinker, high achiever.

Floating Areas :

Possibly the Emergency Room, rarely.

Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs.

Unit Guidelines / Policies :

Every other weekend required.

Could possibly be called off shift and placed on call if census is low.
