Senior Accountant

Position Overview :

A growing Home Care Service company is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial operations and reporting. Reporting to the Controller, this role manages day-to-day accounting functions and contributes to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant :

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.

Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Oversee accounts payable / receivable and reconcile bank accounts.

Assist with month-end / year-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and financial regulations.

Collaborate with leadership to improve accounting processes.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3-5 years of accounting experience; healthcare or service industry a plus.

Strong GAAP knowledge; proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks / Paychex preferred).

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
