About the company

Our client is a leading importer / distributor of fresh produce and specialty foods in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, supplying a wide range of foodservice clients, from restaurants to hospitals. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing company on a hybrid schedule located in the Bronx.

Responsibilities of Senior Accountant :

  • Prepare and process journals related to month-end close activities
  • Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled each month
  • Support external year-end financial statement audit
  • Review and analysis reports in addition to tracking and resolving any reconciling items

Qualifications of Senior Accountant :

  • Bachelors in Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel- v-look up, pivot tables
  • Familiarity / Competency with Dynamics365, or other ERP / accounting systems
