The Department of Dermatology at the Dartmouth
Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a dermatologist with a special
interest and expertise in skin of color dermatology. This
individual will have the unique and challenging opportunity to
create an academic clinical program from the ground up, be the
expert in 2 states and utilize this platform to develop teaching,
clinical trials and research initiatives. The Department and the
academic medical center is completely supportive of this initiative
and will provide the time and resources to make this project
successful. The ideal candidate will have to be both an architect
and a builder, with energy and focus to do something unique and
different. This is a much needed and high demand sub-specialty in
dermatology and the geographic area. In addition to establishing a
skin of color dermatology program, this individual will have the
opportunity to work in an academic environment, teach residents and
students, and collaborate in a dynamic university setting. Our
Department is a comprehensive group of academic dermatologists. We
have broad spectrum of specialty clinics, a strong clinical
operational system, and an expanding basic science and
translational research footprint, and we are growing. Requirements :
MD or DO degree Board-certification in dermatology by the ABMS or
AOA Excellent communication skills Ability to obtain / maintain NH
