This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! As part of a hardworking team (Additive Manufacturing), you will set up and operate world-class vacuum thermal processing equipment to produce high-value aerospace components for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the thermal processing of aerospace alloys. You will also be involved in process and design with engineers to characterize, improve, and document manufacturing processes and the resulting hardware quality. Responsibilities will include: Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings and work instructions, safely operating and "owning" vacuum furnaces including maintenance, and continually looking for improvement opportunities in all that you do.

5 years of aerospace thermal processing experience Experience in thermally processing aerospace materials such as copper, nickel, and titanium alloys. Familiar with performing furnace preventative maintenance Self-Motivated with the ability to work within a team environment or independently as required Ability to climb ladders, stairs, work in small/restricted areas, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work overtime as required Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired: 5+ of aerospace vacuum thermal processing experience Experience with post process testing such as hardness, alpha case, and mechanical testing Experience working with Materials Engineers to design, test, and document heat treatment and braze processes Crane operator/ lift coordinator experience
Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $29.04-$40.65 Other site ranges may differ
