Drywall Estimator

A large well-established drywall contractor in the New York City (Brooklyn) market is seeking a skilled Drywall Estimator to join a fast-paced collaborative estimating team. This organization handles a heavy mix of ground-up multifamily conversions hotels condos and commercial interiorsranging from quick-turn small projects to large complex builds exceeding $40M.

The team is growing rapidly workload is high and they are looking to bring on the right person as soon as possible .

What Youll Be Doing

Preparing accurate estimates for both small interior projects ($50K$200K) and large ground-up developments up to $40M

Performing detailed on-screen takeoffs using digital estimating software

Managing a high volume of bids with quick turnaround times

Collaborating closely with a young energetic estimating department in an open-office environment

Contributing to a busy and fast-moving workflow without requiring extensive oversight

What Theyre Looking For

Experience

Drywall estimating experience strongly preferred

High proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff software (PlanSwift experience is a plus)

Ability to handle both fast small bids and multi-day large takeoffs

Comfortable working on large ground-up multifamily projects with hundreds of units

Skills & Traits

Strong digital takeoff and estimating skills (software proficiency matters more than trade background)

Able to plug in quickly and operate in a high-volume fast-paced environment

Collaborative communicator who fits well within a close-knit team

Thrives in an open informal office setting
