As a Security Officer in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. This driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual conditions or activities.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Collaborate with site personnel and first responders as needed during emergency situations or drills.

Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to help to deter potential risks and maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets.

Minimum Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
