Business Development Manager Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Data Centers to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and nurturing new business opportunities across multiple industry verticals, with a primary focus on data centers. You will lead business development efforts, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and execute a strategic plan to expand market share.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities :
- Research growth markets, define business requirements, and execute a strategic plan to expand market share
- Develop and execute a multi-faceted sales plan, with direct outreach to prospective clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations
- Partner with marketing to develop targeted go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and events
- Identify customer challenges and align solutions to meet short- and long-term needs
- Participate in a collaborative sales process with peers and internal teams to move prospects through the pipeline
- Develop and negotiate competitive pricing strategies
- Track and manage all opportunities in CRM software to ensure visibility and timely follow-up
- Establish networking relationships with customers, industry associations, and business partners
- Provide technical presentations and training to diverse audiences
- Monitor industry trends and represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, and professional events
- Define sales potential, prepare budgets, and complete required reporting
- Collaborate with leadership on business development goals and strategies
Business Development Manager Position Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales, technical, or project-based salesAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 60%Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skillsExperience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholdersProficient in negotiation, value-added selling, and time / travel managementPrior involvement with industry associations or non-profit groups preferredAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment#LI-Onsite
