About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Description :

Registered Nurse needed for inpatient rehabilitation specialty.

Candidate must possess a minimum of one year of acute care rehabilitation experience.

Flexibility with scheduling is important, as the facility has a strict policy for attendance.

Candidates will float between departments as needed.

Responsibilities include medication reconciliation, vital signs monitoring, and dressing changes.

Experience with neurological disorders and rehabilitation needs is preferred.

Additional skills include managing tracheostomy care, wound care, and seizure management.

Candidates should be prepared for occasional telephone triage and patient teaching.

The nurse will work with adult and geriatric patient populations.

Compliance with patient safety goals and infection prevention standards is essential.

Candidates must be familiar with charting systems.

All applicants must meet the required qualifications and pass an EKG exam prior to employment.

Candidates will participate in interdisciplinary support teams for enhanced patient care.
