Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A K-12 educational institution in Putnam, CT is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across all grade levels. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized speech and language services within a dynamic school setting. Key Responsibilities : Conduct prehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique munication needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote effective munication strategies and support student progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review Qualifications : Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings preferred Strong understanding of munication disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic interventions Excellent interpersonal and munication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Location : Putnam, Connecticut Position Type : Contract This role offers the chance to work directly with school-aged students to enhance their munication abilities and support their academic success.
