WHAT YOU WILL DO

Investment Process and Reporting

• Set up processes, manage lifecycle transactions, and perform monthly / quarterly valuations of alternative investments, including capital calls, distributions, and account statements in internal systems (SimCorp) and with custodians, investigating discrepancies as needed.
• Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure accuracy and note issues, escalating for resolution.
• Research and reconcile financial holdings, performance, and investment data discrepancies regularly with SimCorp and custodians.
• Analyze investment data, consulting with portfolio managers and staff to meet reporting needs.
• Identify best practices and support development of data management infrastructure for alternative investments.
• Create or improve data analysis and reporting methodologies.
• Assess investment analysis, data, security, and reporting needs, and develop metrics and objectives.
• Analyze pricing, cash flows, trading info, and other factors affecting portfolio valuation and compliance.
• Support audit requests and accounting reports.
• Monitor data feeds, recommending corrections to ensure data accuracy.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, operations research, math, IT, liberal arts, or related field. A Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.
