Skyline College is hiring : FWS – SSF Library Project Read Tutor and Office Assis

The Project Read Tutor and Office Assistant plays a vital role in supporting adult learners to improve their literacy skills while providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of Project Read programs. This dual-role position requires strong organizational skills, a passion for education, and the ability to work with diverse learners and team members.

Position Description

Tutor Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to adult learners in reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Assist learners in developing individualized learning goals and action plans (Roles and Goals)
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources tailored to learners’ needs. (Ability to complete training required)
• Track and document learners’ progress through assessments and regular feedback.
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
