About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Managing Director specializing in State and Local Taxation. The ideal candidate will provide expert written tax advice, develop strategies to minimize client tax burdens, and stay informed on tax policy changes and risks. Engaging in business development activities, including marketing and networking, is essential for maintaining and building key client relationships. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will guide complex tax matters and spearhead our office's tax service initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver high-quality tax compliance, consulting, and controversy services.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and enhance client satisfaction.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals.
• Communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; a Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of SALT experience is required, along with CPA certification or similar credentials. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential in this role.
