A highly regarded regional law firm with a national platform is seeking an Associate to join its Trusts & Estates Practice . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a sophisticated client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from senior attorneys in a growing group.
About the Role :
The associate will advise clients on estate planning, tax planning, asset protection, and business succession strategies. The position involves both advisory and transactional work, including drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and operating or shareholder agreements. Associates also assist with estate and trust administration, supervise preparation of accountings and tax returns, and coordinate with clients’ financial advisors and other professionals.
Responsibilities :
Provide strategic estate and tax planning advice to high-net-worth clients
Draft wills, trusts, and business-succession documents
Structure and administer complex estate and trust plans
Quantify tax impacts and prepare flowcharts of plan structures
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in trusts & estates law
LLM in Taxation or corporate / transactional experience a plus
Compensation :
Starting salary : $130,000, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities
