Injection Molding Shift Supervisor

MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for a reliable, motivated, and experienced individual for the Shift Supervisor position. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for leading production team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations during their shift.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production employees.

Enforce safety, quality, and sanitation standards across the manufacturing floor.

Plan and assign work schedules to meet production goals and customer deadlines.

Review production schedules, reports, and shift performance data to monitor efficiency and output.

Support and coordinate mold setups and changeovers to minimize downtime.

Train, coach, and evaluate employees to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards.

Communicate effectively with other departments and shifts to maintain smooth operations.

Identify and address quality or production issues promptly, implementing corrective actions when needed.

Maintain accurate shift documentation, including production reports, timecards, and attendance.

Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree preferred.

3–5 years of supervisory experience in an injection molding or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, and equipment.

Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with IQMS a plus.

Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet production requirements.

Work Environment & Expectations :

Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, or dirty.

Frequent walking and standing on the production floor.

Hands-on supervision supporting setup and production teams.

Schedule : Monday through Wednesday 6 hour shifts, alternating Thursday / Friday or Saturday / Sunday 12 hour shifts. Guaranteed 2 days off per week!
