Facility Overview Inpatient Mental Health Unit (MHU / BHU)

Focus on patient-centered care in a supportive psychiatric environment

Charting System : EPIC

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on the inpatient mental health unit

Assess, monitor, and manage psychiatric patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

Implement de-escalation techniques and maintain safety protocols

Accurately document patient care, interventions, and observations in EPIC

Participate in treatment planning and communication with patients and families

Required Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years inpatient mental health nursing experience

Current New York State RN license

BLS certification

De-Escalation training

EPIC experience

Travel experience preferred
