Job Overview
Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nursing Director reporting to our Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Critical Care / CVC. You will have overall responsibility for the planning, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, patient safety, clinical quality outcomes, evidence-based practices, and professional development of nursing staff. The Clinical Nursing Director SICU works collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to ensure that programs are well planned and that services are fully integrated to ensure a patient-centered, outcome driven approach to care. Manages systems in order to accomplish patient, unit, and departmental and institutional goals. Case types for this unit include critical care patients – General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Liver Transplant, and ENT.
