WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Operating Room Nurse for an on-going contract a ambulatory surgery center in East Setauket, NY.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner within the facility EMR.

Prepares the operating room for patient procedures and assists other staff with breaking down the room.

Assists in positioning patients and responds to their comfort and safety needs.

Ensures accurate care and handling of specimens.

Initiates corrective actions whenever necessary.

Observes and enforces strict standards of asepsis.

Job Requirements :

Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).

1 years of experience in this specialty.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
