Job descriptionSetting : Critical Access Hospital, Labor and Delivery / Pediatrics Unit / Level II nursery Duties : Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections, admit / discharge newborns, admit / care for pediatric patients, perform circumcisions Required Procedures : Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation / intubations / UVC, lumbar punctures EMR : Meditech Support Staff : Nursing team, Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, ob-gyns, Respiratory Therapists, local pediatricians for consultation, NICU located at a different facility with consulting physicians Admissions per day : 2-3 Do not deliver patients less than 36 weeks if possible Board Certified / Board Eligible - Highly Preferred NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications Active ND license or IMLC Clean malpractice
Coverage Needed :
- November 2025 - Ongoing
- Schedule : 7 days per month, 24-hour call
- Specific Dates :
- 11 / 21(7a)-11 / 28(7a)
- 12 / 17(7a)-12 / 23(7a)
- Plus ongoing coverage in 2026
