QC Analyst

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control (QC) Analyst. This role will support the quality of our products. This position must prioritize lots to ensure schedule and goals are met. Responsible for ensuring performance testing meets data specifications. Perform all duties using safety conscious practices. Position Duties :

• Test product lots as scheduled in an efficient manner per procedures and specifications.
• Performs environmental monitoring, subculturing and identification of organisms.
• Initiate Quality Event reports (QEs) for Finished Good testing and Environmental Monitoring Program.
• Initiate QC OOS Investigations and be able to perform investigations.
• Supports continuous improvement processes in QC and replenishment of QC supplies using lean standards (5S).
• Update SOPs as needed.
• Support QC and special projects that may arise in other departments as requested by management.
• Promote a safe workplace by identifying potential hazards, wear appropriate PPE, and review safety procedures regularly and how to integrate them into daily activities.

The estimated wage range for this role based in Illinois is between $24.00 - $36.30. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux's bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate's experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
