Position : Shipping Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Duration : Full-Time

Location : Troy, Ohio

Schedule : 3rd Shift

• Monday to Thursday-9 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• Friday, 9 : 00 PM to 5 : 00 AM.

Salary Range

$75,000k / year

Eligible for Bonus / Commissions

Not at this time

Eligible for premium pay after 45 hours in a week.

Required or Essential Qualifications : (Include 3-5+ bullets) :

High School Diploma or equivalent but a 4-year degree is preferred.

5 years of experience in leading a team in a manufacturing environment.

Lean Manufacturing – CI experience- Employee development

Ability to communicate with anyone at the plant, including customers and vendors.

Job Description :

Safety of personnel, quality, and security of product.

Lead, delegate, and motivate employees

Keep the shipping docks, warehouse areas, staging area(s), and all storage areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.Instruct coordinators, loaders, material handlers, and equipment operators on the safe handling of material

Verify all outgoing products and shipments to customers, ensuring accurate quantity counts and general quality.

Manage inventory by properly handling, staging, and shipping finished goods; coordinating inventory transfers with internal departments

Driving continuous improvement projects and formulating recommendations to improve product flow and appropriate equipment

Implements identified safety, quality, and productivity initiatives

Select, train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed

Develop Standard Operating Procedures and document appropriately

Plan, monitor, and appraise employees by completing regular reviews of employees along with annual EPPR to be submitted to the manager

Accomplish staging, shipping, and organization mission by completing related reports as needed

Any other assignments related to production as required by the Production Manager, Director, and VP.
