Position : Mechanical Cleaning Specialist / Packer / Shipper

Hours : 5 : 00a-3 : 30p or 6 : 00a - 4 : 30p (Mon-Thur.)

Payrate : $17- $20 depending on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

The cleaning / packing position is a general labor position responsible for preparing all cut parts for the next work process, or shipment to the customer.

REPORTING

This position will report directly to the Shop Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete cleaning and packing of parts to ship from tables.
• Complete cleaning of parts to be distrusted to other departments for forming, machining, fabricating, etc.
• Cleaning all parts to customer specifications per drawings, written, or verbal instructions received.
• Complete cleaning / packing and distribution of all parts in the most cost effective, time saving, and safety conscious manner possible.
• Unload the burn tables and transport the cut parts to the cleaning department for processing.
• Cleaning (deslagging) all parts with the proper equipment.
• Label all extra parts not being shipped and place them on the extra parts inventory list and storing them in the proper place.
• Verify any questionable parts with the Shop Supervisor prior to packing for shipment to eliminate rejections from the customer.
• Pack all parts for shipment accurately and complete all paperwork associated with assigned task.
• Any other duties and tasks may be assigned.
