Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for our client in industrial manufacturing who is expanding their team and seeking 4 skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support their operations.

Position Overview

As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our production equipment. This role demands versatility across electrical, mechanical, and electronic disciplines, with hands-on troubleshooting and repair responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and practices

Partner with Engineering to install, test, and release equipment

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in production, processing, distribution, and conveying systems

Utilize and maintain records in a CMMS system

Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems (various platforms)

Manage network and communications : EtherNet / IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet

Work with AC drives, motors, encoders, and resolvers

Calibrate flow, level, pressure, and temperature instrumentation

Perform mechanical maintenance including bearings, conveyors, gearboxes, and rebuilds

Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and rotating equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documents

Inspect parts, run diagnostics, and test machinery

Operate hoists, grinders, hand / power tools, welding, and test equipment

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Must be willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (modified DP schedule)

Must be multi-craft skilled (electrical, mechanical, electronics)

Minimum 5 years of experience , or 3 years with an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance

Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment reliability

Nice-to-Have Skills

Allen Bradley PLC experience

Familiarity with 480V, 3-phase motors

Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics systems
