Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and EPIC EMR experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with stepdown and ICU-level patient population
  • Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Weekend coverage is required
  • Option for a 36 or 48 hour per week contract
  • Required to float to other units or campuses within the health system as qualified and needed
  • Uses Epic EMR for all charting and documentation, minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Will be responsible for caring for patients at a progressive care / stepdown acuity
  • Required to complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving access information
  • Orientation occurs every Monday
  • Up to 16 hours may be allotted for completion of training modules before start
  • Two references required for consideration

  • Active SC or compact RN license
  • American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Progressive Care or ICU setting
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Epic EMR
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for night shift consideration; under 50 miles is not eligible
