Location: CA - Westlake Village

What You'll Do:

As a Loan Review Specialist, you'll be responsible for the pre-purchase review of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, USDA, and VA loan files to ensure file contains the designated set of documentation. You'll also be responsible for ensuring each mortgage loan file contains all required documentation and meets acceptable agency guidelines, using business rules to ensure loan files are complete and accurate.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the pre-purchase review of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, USDA, and VA loans files.
• Ensure each file contains the designated set of documentation and meets acceptable Underwriting and Compliance (DU, LQA, Fraud and Compliance) standards and complies with established guidelines.
• Accurately review loan documentation and collateral files. Verify accuracy of data between documents and systems.
• Analyze documentation provided by the client and promptly remediate stipulations. Achieve a minimum of 95% Productivity, 85% Quality, 95% completion within SLA.

What You'll Need:

• 1+ years of related experience in Mortgage Operations, Mortgage Post Closing or similar field.
• High school diploma required.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
