Job descriptionNew Medical Oncology program within a large hospital system Primarily outpatient clinic care with some inpatient rounding and consults Collaborative care model supported by an experienced APP Multidisciplinary cancer team environment Monday to Friday only; 20 shifts / month 7 : 30 a.m. start; expect up to 12-hour shifts PRN medical oncologist also on-site one week / month Direct patient care including consults, admissions, and follow-ups Inpatient rounding in collaboration with APP Focused on adult oncology patients Integration with a multidisciplinary oncology care team Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (within 5 years) Active Illinois license, ACLS, and CSR required Must be able to cover at least 12 shifts / month Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage all covered On-site credentialing support provided 60-day credentialing timeline Ideal for physicians seeking a predictable, weekday-only schedule Long-term contract potential for consistent income Coverage begins this winter; dates still available
