Responsibilities

• Performs technical and patient care tasks and continuous observation, interpretation, recording, and communication of cardiac rhythms of monitored patients in a variety of age groups to the Registered Nurse and physician.
• Those hired to work evening and night shift will perform EKGs during absence of Central EKG Telemetry Specialist during break / meal periods or sick leaves not able to be covered by part-time or per diem Specialists.

Salary and compensation

The compensation range for the role is $24.89 - $28.98 hourly. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and / or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
