Hiring General Laborer

Candidates will :

• Operate a film slitter rewinder machine to cut and size film
• Operate a core cutter machine to cut cores to size (that the film will be wrapped around)
• Use a pallet jack to load large spool of film onto the machine
• Read shop floor job jackets with work instructions
• Use a tape measure to measure cores, to the 16th of an inch
• Use a box cutter as needed
• Perform basic math calculations including multiplication, division, adding, and subtracting
• Lift smaller spools of film
• Label roles of film
• Palletize and wrap roles of film
• Use a touch screen to input information into the machine (i.e. break tension, footage)
• Change rolls of film as needed, up to 2x per hour
• Operate a bailer to crush scrap plastic as needed
• May use a forklift to grab rolls of film out of the warehouse

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00 / hr.
