Financial Analyst
Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position. Target salary range : $82K-$88K per year. The Financial Analyst is responsible for conducting accounting and budget analysis for both Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) and Naval Civil Engineering Corps Officer School (CECOS) for the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE).
Job Description :
- Perform allocating requirements to CSFE N83 Financial Analyst;
- Perform financial forecasting, and annual business plan;
- Seek and perform guidance from BUPERS, NAVSUP, NAVSEA, NETC, and CSFE Comptroller to provide fiscal / COR guidance to CSFE domain on the RRL Program;
- Receive, validate, allocate, and manage reimbursable funds from interservice agencies;
- Perform the transferring and liquidating expense (invoice) from document to another (SABRS / ERP);
- Reviewing, authorizing, and forwarding Purchase Requests (PRs);
- Creating Validation of Transactions MP / WR / RC / TG in ERP and submit for Review / Approval;
- Review Defense Travel System (DTS) travel vouchers and official reimbursements;
- Review WAWF invoices against contracting obligating documents (1155) RRL domain-wide;
- Reviewing, authorizing, and forwarding Purchase Requests (PRs) to NCTC PH N4;
- Provide financial briefings to both CECOS and CSFE Comptroller;
- Provide travel guidance and address Requests for Information (RFI);
- Generate, adjudicate, and validate mid-year RRL Reports;
- Create and distribute bi-weekly fund status reports to directors and leadership from local spreadsheets based on SABERS / ERP data;
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in finance, economics, or statistics;Proven experience working as a financial analyst;Proven proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications;Excellent reporting, presenting, and communication skills;Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles;Ability to work with large datasets;Strategic thinking and organizational skills;Proven analytical and financial modeling skills;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Able to effectively communicate directly with clients;Ability to work independently;Comprehensive knowledge of Navy training processes and language;U.S. Citizenship required.
