Cancer Registrar

HIMpros is seeking full-time and part-time Oncology Data Specialists / Tumor Registrars to support the care and treatment of patients with malignant conditions and to strengthen our Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited cancer program.

Position Details :

• Schedule : Flex hours

About the Role : The Oncology Data Specialist serves as a key member of the Cancer Program team, overseeing the Oncology Patient Registry Program. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and manage all registry activities to ensure compliance with CoC and National Cancer Institute’s SEER Program standards.

Day to Day :

Abstracting analytic and non-analytic cases

Supporting hospital tumor boards

Contributing to quality improvement and accreditation efforts

Participating in professional development opportunities

Requirements :

Certified Tumor Registrar certification / Oncology Data Specialist- Certified (ODS-C) or equivalent

At least 2 years of experience as an Oncology Data Specialist / Tumor Registrar

Pay : $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
