Job Overview

The Mechanic Assembler I is responsible for the disassembly, reassembly, testing, and painting of natural gas engine and compressor components. This role requires mechanical aptitude, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards in a shop environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assemble and disassemble mechanical components per engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform hand grinding, painting, and preservation of parts
• Conduct functional testing and complete inspection documentation
• Operate pneumatic / hydraulic tools, cranes, and lift trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and complete risk assessments
• Report discrepancies and safety concerns to supervisors
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment
• Comply with company policies, EHS standards, and quality regulations
• Wear required PPE and adhere to safety procedures
