Job descriptionFacilitate psychoeducational and therapeuticgroup counseling sessions using evidence-based practices Support clients in developing and implementing treatment goals Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EHP standards Collaborate with clinical supervisors and program directors to ensure quality care Provide crisis support and service coordination as needed Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision Other duties assigned Strong understanding of substance use disorders and relapse prevention Ability to facilitate engaging, therapeutic group sessions Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills Commitment to ethical, person-centered care Health Insurance - EPIC covers a portion of employee premiums Dental and Vision Insurance Short-Term Disability Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan - with employer match after one year of employment Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - available from your first day Professional Development & Advancement Opportunities PTO
EPIC Health Partners is seeking Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC / CSAC-E) to join our growing team as group facilitators. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities across treatment settings, including in-office, virtual, and weekend-based services. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about guiding individuals through their recovery journey.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC / CSAC-E)
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing mental health and / or addiction services in individual, family, or group settings
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Verification of Tuberculosis (TB) screening
