Travel RN Cardiac Telemetry Job Details Location : Kalamazoo, MI 49048 (Southwest Michigan nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Short Stay / Cardiology Unit Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026) Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18 : 00 – 06 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1890 - $1940 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Must work 2 out of 3 holidays Floating : As needed within hospital or to affiliate hospitals Charting System : Cerner Powerchart Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (Cardiac Telemetry RN experience preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Michigan RN license or pending; must apply within 24 hours of offer) Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (pending certifications accepted) Experience with Cerner charting system required Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to complete up to 8 hours of pre-start modules Professional conduct required; contract may be terminated for unprofessional behavior or excessive call-offs Cardiac Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with cardiac, trauma, and surgical diagnoses Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias Administer cardiac drips and medications (no titration required) Perform central line, PICC line, and chest tube care and management Manage post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and post-surgical patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services Float to similar nursing units as needed based on census and volume Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner Powerchart Participate in rapid response and code teams as required Join our healthcare team in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and experience the benefits of a supportive hospital environment, lively downtown, excellent dining, and easy access to outdoor recreation.
