About The Position

Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care

Profession : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS - Basic Life Support, ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Description :

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers.

They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality and safe patient care.

They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and supported through a Shared Governance Model.

The framework for practice is steered by the Professional Practice Model, evidence-based practice, and research.

RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by the organizational values.

All RN Clinical Nurses Critical Care are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by relevant regulatory bodies.

They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards as put forth by the American Nurses Association.

As a member of the patient services team, individuals must uphold the voice of the patient while supporting service excellence goals.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions :

Required Minimum Education :

Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution.

Required Minimum Experience :

Experience with direct patient care is preferred.
