Job Description

• Develop Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' individual needs and create tailored therapy plans that help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to support continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
