Insurance Verification Associate

Allergy A.R.T.S. is a multi-specialty, multi-resource private practice clinic located in the scenic plains of Texas' panhandle. We are looking for energetic and approachable personalities to join our leading Rheumatology and Allergy practice. Title: Insurance Verification Associate

Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Clinic Hours: Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm

Friday 8am to 12pm

Pay Rate: Experience Based

What you will be doing for Allergy A.R.T.S. (job duties):

- Processing, faxing, and HIPAA compliant dispersal of needed medical records

- Conducting of authorizations for care coverage

- Insurance verification via telephone and email correspondence with various payors

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, warm, and helpful manner

- Assist in the prompt and accurate answering and routing of phone calls

- Communicate clearly and efficiently in-person, via the telephone, and on any written communications

- Assure quality service for our patients and co-workers

What we are looking for (requirements):

- High School Diploma or GED

- Ability to type 40 words per minute

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite -- Excel, Word, Outlook

- Excellent Customer Service experience

What would make you shine (preferred skills):

- At least one (1) year of related experience or familiarity with medical practice insurance verification
