Job description
A company is looking for a Medical Coder III with Cardiology experience.
Key Responsibilities
Review and submit 64 encounters per day related to various cardiology services
Maintain coding knowledge and ensure compliance with CPT and ICD-10 regulations
Collaborate with clinic staff and leadership on coding projects and workflow evaluations
Required Qualifications
3-5+ years of professional coding experience in Cardiology
Active AAPC COC, CPC or AHIMA CCS certification at the time of hire
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and billing regulations
Proficiency in EPIC, Cerner, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and TEAMS
Maintains a 95% coding accuracy rate and meets productivity standards
