Job Description Summary Job Duties : Design, implement, and execute software quality assurance best practices to ensure quality releases to Production. Create comprehensive test plans and / or test strategy documents identifying the testing scope, approach, schedule, etc. Develop the manual for functional, integration, and end to end test validation. Ensure software issues and defects are identified, documented, and tracked. Report test results by publishing key metrics such as pass / fail rates, defect count, test coverage, etc. Identify issues and risks associated to testing and create mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Promote quality practices while working with project and scrum teams to deliver high quality software releases. Estimate testing efforts based on scope of work identified in requirements or user stories. Manage testing efforts between multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Provide comprehensive testing status. Hybrid in-office / remote work schedule available. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or related quantitative field; plus 60 months of experience in job offered or in a position involving software quality assurance. Will also accept Master's degree plus 36 months in the alternative. Requires demonstrated experience in : Performing software testing, including testing IBM iSeries / DB2 systems, relational databases, and ERP systems; Working in Waterfall, Agile, and iterative software development methodologies; Leveraging test management tools to drive testing efforts; Leading QA efforts on projects with multiple onshore and offshore QA resources; and Jira and Xray. Also requires knowledge of SDLC processes and QA lifecycle. The wage range offered is $137,917 - $145,000 per year.
