• Work three 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 36 hours
• Day / Evening shift schedule from 11 : 00 AM to 11 : 30 PM
• Prepare for and perform all MRI examinations while operating equipment safely
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective MRI scanner utilization
• Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
• Maintain cleanliness of scanner and associated equipment per infection control policies
• Follow MRI safety and quality assurance procedures
• Utilize PACS, RIS, and EMR systems efficiently and complete required paperwork
• Comply with continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities
• Lift and transfer patients using safe ergonomic techniques and appropriate devices
• Required certifications : BLS, Washington State Certification as radiologic technologist
• Must be ARRT registered in MRI with at least 2 years of previous MRI experience
